Craven Street refurbishment, London – completed project.

These prestigious Georgian townhouses, previously converted to offices, were renovated and restored back to residential use. Period detailing was reinstated, giving a sense of grandeur, while successfully marrying the traditional with modern facilities and contemporary design.

Accommodation is over six floors and both houses feature joinery detailing, such as deep skirting with simple profiles typical of the early Georgian period, panelled doors with raised mouldings, and replica Georgian plaster cornices.

The entrance hall is panelled in antiqued mirror for a traditional feel, while subtly illuminated cornices were added to the dining room, living room and master bedrooms.

As the focal point of both dining and living rooms, the fireplaces were carefully specified, with proportions to suit the spaces. The Georgian replica fireplaces feature cast-iron firebacks and white marble surrounds, which add to the sophisticated feel.

Contemporary kitchens were designed and crafted from timber with, marble and stone worktops and splash backs.

The luxury bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms fully fitted with book matched marble, bespoke cabinets and high-quality sanitaryware.
