The Jack Barclay Client Lounge Berkeley Square, London
As the largest and oldest Bentley dealership, owned by H R Owen Plc., this prestigious space in a landmark building in London’s Mayfair underwent a high spec refurbishment earlier this year. Ann and her team worked alongside Mark Wilkinson of Louis de Soissons Architects to deliver a luxury client lounge on the lower ground floor. In the Jack Barclay experience lounge, discerning customers from all over the world can relax and enjoy the contemporary design of this carefully considered and crafted space, in which the utmost attention to detail can be appreciated.
Interior Architecture UK designed a lounge area showcasing premium interior finishes and a lighting plan that provides clever illumination to complement carefully designed bespoke items. In particular, the bronze and glass Art Deco style light fittings were intended as a focal point of the interior. A long side the bespoke bar, finished in burr walnut with ebony reeding – a subtle nod to the use of these finishes in Bentley car interiors.
